Can I use a large car?
-
The road is narrow in some parts of the village, and you will have to share the road with oncoming traffic in some places.
If you are not accustomed to driving on mountain roads, it may be difficult to maneuver a car larger than a one-box car because there are places where you need to turn around. Also, some lodgings require driving on inclined slopes, and if the vehicle height is low, there is a possibility that the bottom of the vehicle may be scraped.
You can also see a video at the bottom of the Transportation Access for access to each building from within the village, so you can check the road from there.
-
Can I drive a bus there?
-
We do not recommend it.
Microbuses (with a capacity of 18 to 21 passengers) can pass through the village, but the narrow roads, turnaround points, and ditches can be dangerous for unfamiliar drivers. In addition, some buildings are not accessible to the front of the lodge, so visitors will have to walk up the slope from the middle of the road. Buses larger than a microbus are not allowed in the village. Parking space for buses is also limited.
-
Can a large group (larger than 10 people) stay ?
-
We do not recommend it.
Our inn is located in a mountainous village with various lodging facilities scattered throughout the village.
(For the location of each building, please refer to the village map here.)Depending on the lodging , some distances between lodgings may not allow guests to move around easily. Buses and other large vehicles are not allowed to enter the parking lot and must walk from nearby buildings. (Walking on foot means traveling uphill, and at night there are no exterior lights, so there is a possibility of encountering wild animals. We would like to have appropriate people to spend a comfortable stay if they can be divided into one of the two neighboring buildings, Seikou and Udoku, Ungai and Soten, and Yukyo and Tanzan, which are relatively close to these two buildings.
-
Can I bring my own BBQ grill, bonfire, or fireworks?
-
It is possible if you notify us in advance.
Please be sure to bring a fire sheet as well.Handheld fireworks are allowed. Sound emitting fireworks and fireworks that can be launched are not allowed.
Please be considerate of the noise level, etc., as there are also people from the surrounding community living in the area.
-
If I book a second night in a different wing, what happens at check-in?
-
You can pay for the second night together at the reception office. You can move directly to the second night's lodgings without stopping by the reception office, but you must be out of your room by 10:00am. As a rule, check-in time for the second night's lodging is after 3:00 p.m. Please follow the instructions of the staff on the day of check-in.
If you wish to spend more time during the day, we recommend staying in the same building for consecutive nights.
For consecutive nights in the same building, a 10% discount on the second and subsequent nights' room rates will be applied for reservations made through the company's website.
-
What if I want to go by public transportation (train or local bus)?
-
By train, the nearest station is Oboke Station, from where you can take a local bus or cab.
Buses are limited in number per day, and there are no buses that leave at check-in/out times, and
Also, the distance from the bus stop to each building is far, and the inclined road is not suitable for suitcases. For these reasons, we do not recommend taking the local bus.
If you are considering taking a cab, please inquire with one of our partner companies.
