A thatched private house at the top of a mountain village at the end of a winding village road.
Named after an old Chinese story, this house has a rustic and beautiful landscape that symbolizes Iya.
It is located at the top of the Higashiiya Ochiai village, where the traditional lifestyle that has been handed down on steep cliffs is alive.
Fusho is the first thatched-roof private house in the mountain village of Tougenkyo-Iya, which opened in April 2012.
*Starting with check-ins on April 1, 2026, consecutive stays (two nights or more) will be the only type of stay accepted.
*Please note that it takes 5 minutes on foot from the parking space to the Fusho house, passing through a slope and the eaves of houses that have not been paved. Suitcases and carry-on bags are not suitable.
*Closed during the winter season (December to March) due to icy roads and snow accumulation.
