Miyanishi Eiji store
This is the nearest store, located 10 minutes from our lodge.
It sells groceries, condiments, ice cream, candy, and alcohol.
Located at the entrance to Ochiai Village, where the lodge is located, it is a good place to restock your supplies.
Please note that the shop is closed irregularly and may not be available on the day of your stay.
Soba dojo restaurant
Iya Soba Restaurant located along the national way.
Located not far from the lodge, you can enjoy Iya soba, oden, and other specialties.
If you make a reservation, you can try your hand at buckwheat noodle making. (Click here for more details.)
Closed on Thursdays.
Kurieda konnyaku tofu store
This is a private store located near the reception office.
Traditional Iya konnyaku and iwadofu (rock tofu) are available for purchase.
Iwadofu can also be purchased at Iba Shops and Boke Mart.
The store closes as soon as they are sold out, so please call in advance to make a reservation.
Nishi-Iya roadside station
This roadside station is located over a mountain pass from Oboke to Iya.
Local specialties and souvenirs are available.
There is an eat-in space where you can have a meal.
You can enjoy Iya soba (buckwheat noodles).
Iya-soba flavored ice cream is also available.
Boke-mart
This is a nostalgic local supermarket located near JR Oboke Station.
You can get most of your groceries such as soba, konnyaku, fresh food, alcohol, seasonings, etc. during your stay.
The friendly local ladies who run the store are also a part of the charm of this place.
Cafe ＆Gibier
This is a gibier restaurant located in Oboke Roadside Station.
The gibier burger using wild boar and deer meat is a must-try item.
There is also a terrace where you can enjoy a relaxing meal with a view of the Oboke Gorge.
